#Knowledge in #acoustics is #essential to promote the #creation of #environments, both #indoors and #outdoors.
Today, #acoustics is #poorly #understood by #most #people, and #practical #solutions to #noise #problems or #building acoustics are not #properly #taught in today’s #education. As a #result, there is a #large #amount of #void between #people, #engineering and #solutions today.
On the other side, #Do-it-yourselfers rely on #Google or #website stores or #self-styled novice’s that make #deceptive claims for the #expensive range of #materials or solutions they #market or #sell.
But pragmatically, much of our work #consists of #troubleshooting acoustic problems caused by non #reliable #amateurs soundproofing or #poor #design, or no design at all.
We #substantiate in #professional solutions through #hypothesis and #apotheosis to #problems that many people #give up on, or #spend too much #money #trying to #fix.
